What does "optimal wellness" mean for you? More energy? More success? More happiness? More balance? Whatever it means, wellness can be understood as a series of empowering, life affirming habits. Your past doesn't need to dictate our future and we can choose and learn to be different. Your decision to change things is the game changer-yet trying to change without support is usually a more difficult and less successful strategy because we don't see our blind spots and we are rarely our best cheer leader! The "quick-fix" approach to changing our habits rarely works. A good process, great support and measuring your efforts with positive evidence and feedback does.
Wellness is not a fixed thing, neither is it something we are just born with. We create it, we maintain it and we can upgrade it. So much more than an absence of illness, wellness has four key aspects:
Like a battery, each aspect can get drained and needs charging up regularly so we have plenty of fuel to enjoy life and the resilience to get through the tough and difficult parts.
My role is to be your change-champion, to help you install the most supportive habits and "upgrade" your wellness and quality of life in ways that are meaningful and relevant to you. Interested? Let's talk.
"You can never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the exiting model obselete”
R Buckminster Fuller
Cathy is quite clearly a dedicated professional with a wealth of skills and experience at her disposal. Consulting her on a personal matter, I also found her to be deeply caring, empathetic and ultimately most helpful. Being a fellow therapist, I have no hesitation in recommending Cathy most highly to my clients. I would also like to say a personal thank you to Cathy for the help she has given me.
